Amazing 3 hour tour! Captain made sure that we saw dolphins, and even took us up to a shipwreck. It was great fun for the kids to snorkel on Shell Island. It is highly recommended for all ages.

It is possible to snorkel at the St. Andrews State Park Pier, or out on Shell Island. You will find habitats from the sandy bottom to the shallow grass flats to rocky faces of jetties. Agree with above, go around 11 a.m., to get the best of daytime sun, because April has some fairly cool days. over a year ago. I'd plan for late morning/early afternoon. There's no shade so if it is really warm you don't want to be there at the absolute hottest part of the day.
